The ward comprises of surgical ward which has 8 beds, medical ward with 18 beds and side ward with 3 beds - where critically ill conditions which need close monitoring are admitted.

The Female Ward is situated centrally in the hospital, adjacent to the Male Ward, opposite to theatre.

Staff
The staff consists of 8 Registered General Nurses (RGN), 2 Primary care nurses (PCN), 5 Nurse Aides and 1 General Hand. Sometimes, there will also be student Nurses.

The department operates 24hrs a day, 7 days a week catering for patients.
